Divided We Fail; Campaign

Description:   The ETV FORUM will explore the "Divided We Fail" campaign. This grassroots effort seeks to make healthcare a burning issue among elected officials.  We have invited a statewide group of stakeholders with the goal of engaging in a robust conversation on accessibility and affordability of healthcare for all South Carolinians.  What works and what doesn't work in regards to healthcare in our state?  "Divided We Fail" is a non-partisan combined national initiative of AARP, the Business Roundtable, Service Employees International Union and the National Federation of Independent Businesses, which combined, represent some 53-million Americans.

Description: From the classroom to the living room, The Big Picture takes an in-depth look at Virtual Schools, the newest development in high school education.  Learning English, Math and History is catching the technology bug and allowing students from all walks of life and in any situation to earn high school credits without leaving the comfort of their home.

 And with less than 2 weeks before we travel to Denver and Minneapolis, we sit down with The State newspaper's political reporters to preview The Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
