Networking with LinkedIn!

Just wanted to add that there is an excellent networking website called "LinkedIn".

“LinkedIn is an interconnected network of experienced professionals from around the world, representing 170 industries and 200 countries. You can find, be introduced to, and collaborate with qualified professionals that you need to work with to accomplish your goals.”

Latest LinkedIn Facts
• LinkedIn has over 36 million members in over 200 countries and territories around the world.

• A new member joins LinkedIn approximately every second, and about half of our members are outside the U.S.

• Executives from all Fortune 500 companies are LinkedIn members.

Feel to check out my profile to view the site! You may decide after viewing to create a profile – if so, feel free to send me an invite!

Winter/Spring 2009 Web Magazine Cover

Ken -
I LOVE the Winter/Spring 2009 Web Magazine Cover!
You have outdone yourself this time! Excellent Job!

The article on Mr. Albert White was great.... I often wonder where and what our Community Leaders are doing, and to find that he is still recognized as a pioneer in the community was good news!

I am not certain if anyone recalls; but Mr. Albert, my father (Marcus Potts Sr.), James Willie Kirkpatrick, Willie (SANK) Culp and the late Charlie Kirkpatrick, Billy Davis, J.T. Miller, organized a Community Concerned Men's Club around the early 1970's (hope I did not leave anyone out, please correct if needed).

They wore "light green blazers" as their signature attire! Their mission was to address issues that pledged the Paradise and Pine Ridge Communities.

In addition, I believe the Men's Club spurred the inception of a Women's Community Group. Not certain of their details, however I am certain that my Aunt, Delores Potts and (possibly) her sister Gretchen McClenningham, were members and can share some information on the group.

This might make an interesting community story for a future ParadiseWeb Magazine edition!

Again, my highest regards to Mr. Albert White and to you Ken for another job well done!
